Day 36 to Abraham Lincoln State Park

Ate lunch in Mandan across from Bismarck ND at a good Chinese Restaurant. Saw the 35' dairy cow (Holstein) in New Salem. Having peanut butter on some of the French bread we got from the monks yesterday. We are gradually going downhill and are now at 1600' vs 2100' elevation this morning.  There were lots of short hills today and my legs are tired. The state park has a Mandan village complete with people dressed in costumes and the fort has solders dressed in period clothing from when General Custer was in charge of the fort.
