39 miles today now at approximately 4000 ft elevation. Got water at a farmhouse just before Brooks. Farmer was very nice and friendly. Gloria started her drive back to Louisville today and we have all our bags and food. My bike bags weighed 66.5 lbs and the bike with the front bag and full water bottles weighed 46 lbs. We had a few hills at a 6 % grade today along with a 5 -10 mph headwind and went slower than the previous days but are getting better at balancing the bikes and everything went smoothly.
Lewiston is a larger town (approximately 5,000 people) and we are going to rest our legs tomorrow and see the town after 6 days of riding.
