Day Thirteen - a short day
Left Winchester Lake State Park and rode with a 20 mph north wind to Kamiah for 46 miles.
The weather was nice - not too hot and the wind was at our back for part of the ride. Staying at a KOA campground tonight.

Lots of cherry farms and the cherries are very good. We made 60 miles today and tomorrow is a rest day as Ford takes Vicky to the airport. AT&Tdoesn't work very well here so it's hard to download pictures. Guess that should be upload 😊
Had clouds all day and a 19-20 mph headwind so it wasn't too hot.

Day 4 From Portland into Washington and the Cascades
HAPPY FATHERS DAY
Ford and I had a good 50 mile ride yesterday. We saw a black tailed deer in the morning and then got to see the beautiful countryside riding along the Columbia river. The girls brought us some sandwiches for lunch so we didn't have to eat cliff bars. The campground at Home valley was pretty with a view of the Columbia river. Last nights sunset was spectacular!! - of course with all the clouds it rained most of the night. We also had rain most of the day. Today is supposed to be great weather with a high about 80. Yesterday it got up to about 60. I forgot to mention that we saw an eagle the day before.
