I got to sit on this bike on our journey on the South Island in New Zealand. The handlebars were very strange but the bike didn't feel all that different. It is in Oamaru, New Zealand.
This picture is from the top of Baldwin Street, the world's steepest street, in Dunedin, NZ. The grade is up to 32% as measured on my Garmin or 1:2.86 as shown in the Guinness book of world records. (Note: the bike rider shown in the picture below is just under the hill but can't be seen in this picture because the road is too steep)
Met this fellow who is taking a world tour by bike and saw him going up the hill on his bike. He was very very happy to make it - fully loaded. He decided to walk down the hill.

Lots of gear on his bike.
